GREAT IDEA! As a new teacher, I know I am not going to have a lot of money to go out and spend. If I get a kindergarten classroom, I know I cannot afford an expensive play kitchen; therefore, I can go to Goodwill and buy an old entertainment center and make my own (with boyfriend's help ofcourse, haha). Plus, I can add my own touch! :)
Before and after: handmade toy kitchen from old entertainment center. I cant begin to express how clever these grandparents are, and crafty, to make this beautiful toy out of an old piece of unwanted furniture. And its a hundred times better quality than the plastic play kitchens you can buy in the store. way to go!
Old entertainment center into a cute Play Kitchen. What little girl wouldn't be thrilled with this!! CUTE!!
Made from an old entertainment center? I've seen a lot of play kitchens, but this is one of the sharpest I've seen! I love that they actually made the appliances stainless steel! I think I know a few little girls who would love this.
DIY PLAY KITCHEN from entertainment center - Found the cabinet off Craigslist for $20. Built doors from scrap wood. All the hardware was found at Habitat for Humanity store. Lots of labor but well worth our little ones smile on Christmas morning!
