Brag buttons...

Brag buttons - Create buttons for students to wear home OR just use labels. This way students are literally wearing what you want them to brag about and parents are more likely to see it!

There is an envelope laminated for each assignment due. I started with ten. I can just write the activity on the envelope and the kids go there to turn it in. Then they check off their name on the back. So I know exactly who didn't turn it in. It also makes things so much easier to grade!

laminated envelope for each assignment due . write assignment on the envelope . kids turn in assignment into envelope . check off name on the back

Recognize students who make 100% on a test! I love this idea.....so positive for those hard working students.

Y'all know I LOVE me some Ron Clark! Ron Clark inspired: Students are only allowed to wear one when they got on a test and they get to wear it all day! Teachers/kids ask them and give them high fives. Love this!

Extra work for "brownie points" when they're done with an assignment early. Make a hanging file for each student and one labeled "Completed." The work inside the folders is differentiated -- whatever a student needs a little extra practice on goes into their folder. Provide struggling students with extra practice and advanced students with a challenge or enrichment.

Love this! File crate with each student's name on it. File work/file folder games for them to do when they are "done" that is differentiated. you can also put work in there that they need extra practice with.

Give these out at our first parent-teacher conference of the school year. Poem reads: "An apple for the teacher is really nothing new, except when you remember parents are teachers too." Parents just love them!

Give these out at our first parent-teacher conference of the school year or open house Poem reads: "An apple for the teacher is really nothing new, except when you remember parents are teachers too." Parents just love them! - Back to School Night?

Great to use for groups! Assigning "jobs" with job descriptions on a necklace!

I love this for cooperative learning. Small groups of students would like having an assigned role. Great to use for groups! Assigning "jobs" helps students feel that they have ownership in the group

Classroom management tool - It can be soooo time consuming to answer the questions. Can we use markers?, Do we turn this in?, Is this a talking activity? I love using these assignment choice signs to answer those questions without me doing the work.

Classroom Management: hallway rules! a great reminder for the expected behavior in the hallway! 8592

Rolling into classroom pictures. Pic of poster for Hallway behavior. HALL Hands at your side, All Eyes forward, Lips zipped, Low speed.

If the clip is on Table Voice, then only the members of their table should be able to hear their voices. Teacher Voice is their louder speaking voice. This is generally the voice they use when they are reading or sharing with the class.

Totally Terrific in Texas: Sound Check & Body Check Charts I like the sound check part instead of voice level.

Lucky duck can and easy way to make sure you called on everyone in class or special jobs

Paint sticks 2 different colors. When you call on a student flip their stick so you know who you hvae called on. Lucky ducks label is cute too. From Kindertastic.

Students have to highlight their name before handing it in!

Awesome way for a child to remember to write their name on their paper. Get them to highlight their name before turning in their paper. Children love to highlight!

Regular eraser can remove permanent marker from laminated materials! This is a million dollar tip!

How to erase permanent marker.nail polish remover, magic eraser, and writing over permanent marker with a dry erase marker also work.but this is super easy!

Great idea for picking partners

Partner Wheel~ Write the names of all the children who you do not want to be together on the smaller circle. All the other students go on the outer wheel. when it's time for students to work with a partner or in small groups, just spin the wheel.
