{Mommy time} When was the last time you read for yourself? I admit I haven't prioritized my own reading time for far too long, it felt great to get back into it. This book was so fantastic it's inspired me to make more time in 2013 for reading for me. Would love your recommendations!

Yet another book with Russian ties...this book is truly beautiful! It is split between three different stories and times that are all tied together. One must read this book when she has total quiet time and concentration because you have to keep so many things in mind for later reference. It's long, but worth it!

One of my all time favorites: Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet - WWII book taking place in Seattle and talking about the Japanese internment through the story of a young Chinese boy who becomes friends with a Japanese girl.
