I love Japenese patterns ... So: always good to have. An article on how to read a Japanese Crochet Pattern. The center symbol that she translates to "make 2 loops" is the "magic ring/loop." (If you don't know how to make it, it's easy to find via google.) Remember: Japanese and US crochet chart symbols are the same. UK (British) symbols are slightly different.
