How to Make Chinese Paper Lanterns - I was surprised to see these are still being made; they were a regular craft when I was in elementary school in the 1960s. It's good to know there is something I can be proficient in when doing crafts with my grandchildren. :)
Chinese Lantern (physalis alkekengi) is a fascinating plant. First, there are little white flowers that develop into fruit protected by larger, papery pods – green at first, but later becoming bright orange, perfectly resembling little Chinese Lanterns ~ it is an aggressive vining plant though.
