Cootie (game) ... 1940's The Game of Cootie is a children's roll-and-move tabletop game for two to four players. The object is to be the first to build a three dimensional bug-like object called a "cootie" from a variety of plastic body parts.
Cootie....the original and the coolest. In the '50s my mom belonged to a "Ladies' Club" and they all sat around with their dresses and lip stick and pin-curl bobs and played Cootie...with this set. Big fun!
I spent many hours at my Nana's playing with her cootie game, this same version.

Whee-Lo Magnetic Spinning Wheel- I know I must have spent hours of my childhhod on this simple but frighteningly hypnotizing toy
The " Wheelo" would be scorned as too stupid, by modern day mentally challenged children. You put cardboard die cuts in the wheel and watched them turn around.
Wheelo, I would totally still play with this. Watching the spinning wheel was mesmerizing.

I remember a store that had a Coke machine like this. You had to hand guide the glass bottle to the end of the row and over the barrier that your dime had opened. As soon as the bottle cleared the barrier, it sealed up again, preventing a second bottle from being removed until another dime was entered.

Anyone who really knows me, knows that I love to play board games. During this endless, brutally cold winter, Steve & I have played Sorry over and over again. Recently, he changed the game so that you have to get one of your men in each of the opponent's home and the safe zone isn't safe. Thanks for all the laughs. I love your creativity, Steve! I wouldn't want to share my life playing games with anyone else.
