Constant sun & sea exposure can leave your skin feeling dry. I found this body scrub recipe online when my skin was lacking moisture & I've been loyal to it since! Heat 1/4 cup coconut oil until melted. | Remove from heat & stir in 2/3 cup sugar. You can use any sugar you have. Add more sugar for a thicker scrub. | Add 5-10 drops essential oil of your choice. | Stir until scrub has cooled down then transfer it into a jar that you can store in the shower. | Use as often as you like #VeetSmooth
To create the scrub, just mix together half a cup of coarse brown sugar with a tablespoon of honey, a little olive oil, and 1/4 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, then apply all over your body and rinse. The scrub not only smells delicious, but leaves your skin feeling ultra-smooth.
Slough off dry winter skin with an invigorating homemade body scrub. It's easy, all-natural, and so inexpensive, you'll want to make enough for gifts. Combine 1 cup of body oil with 2 cups of Epsom or sea salts or organic cane sugar (depending on how fine a grain you like). We added lemon zest for color and fragrance. Package in jars (plastic is safest near the tub).
