Repurposing your maps. Cut in heart shapes and frame...for college students who love to travel or studied abroad, this is a great way to display those places close to their heart.

These pin wheels made from maps are adorable. They would be really cute at a birthday party, for kids or grown ups.

Fun map chair. It would be so awesome to just have everything covered in maps. Travel without leaving the house.

It's cool with a map, but we could also do silhouette collages/artwork. The girls could fill their silhouette with images or things that relate to them - a different take on a self-portrait.

Map love- so many cool things you could do with this - first kiss, born, lived, all of it! Love it!!

I love this idea and am thinking about getting one of Boston, a favorite city!

love map -- This would also be great with important trips/places as the focus for the hearts.

Something to study when stuck in line at the grocery store - and maybe someday I could beat my kids at Sporcle!

GO map letters -- $15 -- from CarolinaCottage on etsy.com I've been wanting to decoupage letters for a while. A new years seems to be a good time to try a new item; so here we go... I decoupaged the word "GO" in vintage maps. These maps happen to be of Michigan and Wisconsin; chosen mostly for their vibrant colors. The entire letter is painted black and varnished to a glossy shine. The letters are made of solid wood and are protected with 3 coats of varnish. Each letter is 9" tall, 7" wide and 1/4" deep. There is a hole in the back for hanging or the letters can be set on a table or shelf. Other words and/or letters available. Please contact me.
