    Jay's Jerk Chicken Share Ingredients: 6 green onions & 1 onion chopped 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded & minced 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 Tbsp brown sugar 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground allspice 1 1/2lbs B/S chicken breast halves Directions:In a food processor or blender, combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. Mix for about 15 sec.Place the chicken in a med bowl & coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or overnight.Preheat grill for high heat & lightly oil grill grate. Cook chicken on the grill 6 to 8 min until juices run clear.

    Jerk Chicken marinade- variations I've made to the recipe is to double it, use canola instead of vegetable oil (it's better for you) and I use a whole cut up chicken instead of just boneless skinless breasts. Keeping the bone in gives such better flavor and the different parts of the chicken pleases a crowd :) -Meghan
