    I love this writing center. Although we don't duplicate traditional school in our home, this center appeals to me--or maybe it's appealing to the former language arts teacher in me! It just makes me want to sit down and write, and I think it would do the same for kids!

Children's Art/Writing Center: I decided to go with pegboard and customized accessories for the specific materials I wanted to make available. It was a long yet worthwhile process. The writing papers are readily accessible and visible, the art supplies are kept in buckets and can easily be removed for use, and everything an aspiring writer needs can be stored in one convenient place.

Awesome suggestions for setting up a writing center that is easily accessible to students and highly organized.

Another writing prompt could write the prompts on blank envelope return labels, stick them to the popsicle sticks, and place a small jar in the middle of groups of desks!
