#Fabergé - Standart Yacht Egg - Workmaster: Henrik Wigstrom - Given by Nicholas II to Alexandra Fyodorovna on Easter, 1909 - Gold, diamonds, pearl, lapus lazuli crystal - Transparent, hollowed-out rock crystal, mounted horizontally. Crowned lapus lazuli eagles mounted on either side; a large pear-shaped pearl hangs from each. A Fabergé Silver and Cut-Glass Fruit Basket, Moscow, 1908-1917, of elliptical form, the silver basket cast and chased to each side with four laurel leaf and ribbon-tied hypocamps on a flared and fluted base bordered with acanthus leaves, the rim with a band of Greek key ornament, the reeded handle tied with ribbons and issuing from laurel and berry wreaths.
Russian silver egg adorned with cabochon garnets and raised design depicting bees, leaves and grape clusters with vines. Gold wash to interior. Makers marks [Pavel Ovchinnikov] to both pieces of the egg. Late 19th century.
