Tattle Monster-- kids write down "non-emergency" tattles and place them in the tattle monster's mouth. At the end of the day, they may decide if the tattle is still worth bringing to me. LOVE it! I've made these monsters out of Kleenex boxes, Pop Tart boxes, etc-- kids loved it! Each student could possible have their own tattle monster attached to back of their chair or side of their desk?

Monster Valentine Box ~ Originally designed as a tattle monster box where kids write down their “tattle” and feed it to the monster instead of tattling to mom. But, I think it would be a super cool Valentine -box-ideas

I've seen several monster tissue box crafts, but I love the idea of a Tattle Monster. Let kids share their tattles with him, instead of pestering you. Brilliant!

Tattle Monster Poem. I like the idea of having a binder for kids to write their tattles in. I can read it after school, and take action if necessary (or at least be more in tune with the social going ons)

Instead of the kids constantly bothering you with mindless tattling...have them write it down and put it in the Tattle Monster!

The tattle monster will listen to you when you have something to say. Just talk to him or write it down, and tell what happened today. But if you or anyone is hurt: Please don't delay! Come to me so I can help and make sure you are okay!

Sound Muncher: Put pictures/flashcards inside when teaching a new letter, for the kids to pull out. Sometimes, I put 3D letters into him and the kids have to put their hands in and guess what letter they can feel. Other times, we "feed" him pictures of words beginning with a particular letter. He has so many uses!

Tattling vs. Reporting Cut and Paste! If tattling drives you bananas, this is a GREAT activity to remind kids the difference and it's fun too! :)
