Okay, so this isn't a photo of my trifle but it is a beautiful representation of one of my all time favorite desserts. Favorite because I don't bake. Favorite because of its beauty. Favorite because the options are limitless. Some of my more requested versions include: Lemoncello for Italian night dinners. Cream lemon curd with mascarpone cheese then layer angel food cake sprinkled with Lemoncello then spread layers of the curd mix, vanilla pudding, Cool whip then repeat. Finish with a light sprinkle of crushed lemon drop hard candies. Black forest trifle. Use crumbled brownies in place of the angle food cake, sprinkle with Cherry Brandy then layer with cherry pie filling, pudding and Cool whip. Finish with light grating of dark chocolate. July 4th trifle. Angel food cake, vanilla pudding, cool whip with alternating layers of red, white and blue. I generally use strawberries, bananas and blueberries. Cinco d mayo trifle. Angle food cake sprinkled with margarita (with or without tequila), no bake key lime pie filling, cool whip. Garnish with sugared grated lime peel. Other versions include a tropical theme using tropical fruits and coconut, a fall theme with pumpkin flavors. Seriously, armed with a bakery cake, pudding, Cool whip and an idea a wonderful artistic and scrumptious dessert awaits you. ;-)

Not with the union jack obviously, but it looks like they used jelly rolls instead of angel food or pound cake, vanilla pudding, berries, and whipped cream. Love it!
