I wash them after every wear. Maybe I've been doing it all wrong.

Washing them after every wear seems like a good way to RUIN a bra fast. I mean, if it's sweaty and gross then yeah by all means, wash it. But I'm not gonna wash it everyday just to please some shallow man.

I have never had a bra that was ruined because of how often it's washed. Also don't wash any of my clothing to please anyone, this is just the way I've been caring for my bras.

The water and soap make the fibers expand, making them vulnerable to breaking. Then, when we actually wash then, the soap and water combined with the friction makes the bra especially likely to tear

Wow some 12 year olds on here. I used to hand wash mine after 2 days wear (big chested, I was scared of destroying already stretched fabric). However I'm at a point in my life where that kind of time doesn't happen, so they're machine washed in the gentlest way possible. Also, mine sweat. My husband could care less. He's attracted to me, not the state of my bra currently.
