Staircase, by Jon Rendell - A well worn, wooden staircase in one of the many campaniles (bell towers) of Bologna, Italy. Bologna is a wonderful city rich in history, culture, cuisine and knowledge marked by a pair of towers both leaning from poor foundations.
Times Squareway, by Darrell Sandefur - I visit New York City every January for business, and I always go to Times Square for the sights and sounds. I enjoy challenging myself to see the same person twice. On this night it was particularly cold so the typical crowds were sparse. No matter the weather there are always tourists being photographed and taking pictures....
Rush Hour in Rural Alaska, by Ronnie Glover - This photo was taken near 11 pm in July. It may have saved my life and the very least my Jeep . The 1/125ths or so of a second it took to push the shutter button was about equal to the amout of time by which I missed hitting a moose a few moments later. There is much traffic once you get away from the city of Anchorage, but there are a lot of scenic vistas.
Meaning of Happiness, by Rezwan Razzaq - Happiness often sneaks in through the window you didn’t know you left open. This shot was taken at a Bandarbans, Bangladesh. The man in this shot is an aboriginal. I had taken this shot on his house yard at noon when he was having his lunch.
