    Guest room ideas - (Love this bench too) A picture frame collage can be the quickest thing to make your apartment feel like a home. If your not the photo hanging type, you can always put up vintage posters or even different swatches of fabric to add a bit of style. Don't spend your time buying new fabrics and cutting it to size, just go to your nearest fabric store and search the scrap/sale bin.

This grouping works because all the the frames are black & the subject matter doesn't have a lot of color either- also, the larger pieces are in the middle. I would have changed out that one brown mat though. Mats are fairly inexpensive to change- it's the framing that's costly. From Domino magazine
