Improved My Skin {Acne, Scaring & Overall Complexion} using Olive Oil and Castor Oil. Apparently coconut oil can work well for some people too.

Interesting acne treatment THAT WORKS!!! My skin has never looked better :) I used coconut oil for this rather than EVOO and castor oil but follow the same steps.

oil cleansing method- what oils you should use D - I have oily skin (or rather I used to) and I have been using coconut oil. It has been a huge help with making my skin more even, not as oily!

Did you know that breakouts on different parts of your face can actually be an indication that a particular part of your body needs more attention? Very useful information!

The Oil Cleansing Method- I tried this for almost a week (castor and sweet almond), and ended up with the worst cystic acne I have ever had! It was horrible. I will not be trying this again. I must be allergic to one of the oils, more than likely the Castor Oil. So sad.

It's probably the oil you used.

You don't have to use Castor oil. Not even sure why people think you have to use only Castor and EVOO/Coconut oil. The whole point of something like Castor is for the astringent quality. Other oils you can use are Hazelnut (astringent and good for oily skin), Grapseed oil (similar properties and great for sensitive skin), Plus Jojoba, Avocado oil, Sweet Almond oil, Apricot kernel oil, even Rice bran oil and Camellia oil that Japanese woman have used for centuries for that legendary, beautiful asian skin. You can even use essential oils for added benefits like lavender, tea tree, geranium and peppermint for oily/acne prone skin. Or calendula, chamomile, carrot oil and sweet orange for sensitive skin. You could then add a rosewater toner, or witch hazel toner or aloe vera. And if even that doesn't work you could always try using the Honey cleansing method with is similar to the OCM instead using organic, raw or manuka honey. I will have to add though that sometimes your skin -will- possibly erupt as it detoxifies and pushes out all the toxins from commericial chemicals and may need a week or two of time and patience to adjust to something more natural.

You were probably purging. You should have kept it up for a couple of weeks until everything was out! :)
