The Slowpoke Cafe, posted recently on Dezeen, really inspires me with its innovative, yet simplistic, use of recycled floor boards and timber pieces to create a cozy space. Even though the budget was small, warmth and depth were achieved by the main focal point-- a great feature wall. The fact that almost all materials were gathered from local flea markets adds to my excitement for this space!

This Melbourne cafe by French designer Sasufi features a 12 metre-long wall covered in timber offcuts.

Timber look wall paper and sensational cactus! Lovely, fun styling. Cute mini chair too!!!

Reclaimed Wood Wall Art. Might try this with the scraps from the reclaimed wood table.

Basement columns. Use wood and weather them different natural hues. Leave gaps between to let light through. Make to look like stacked stone.

Reclaimed Wood Walls- I couldn't handle THAT much, but one wall as an accent would be wonderful! Also, I like the shelves for one of the off walls.

I like the wall but if you slipped and fell onto the wall you might graze your fingers or crack your head open. I'd have it outside or in an other wise safe room to add danger.
