Tomato Cage Tree. This idea is genius because these things are so expensive at stores! Grab a planter, stick in a tomato cage, and wrap faux garland and lights around it. Instant beautiful potted tree!

    We made these last year. We added poster board around the tomato cages to make them more rounded. It was a nice inexpensive project though. Also, it looked better to wrap the lights and then the garland.

Tomato cage & lights - one thing I did different was to get honeysuckle vine from my parents farm and wrapped it around the tomatoe cage first, then wrapped the lights aroung it - it looked great. You could also buy grapevine at a hobby store and wrap the tomatoe cage first, then add the lights. Could be used as a large center piece or outside by your front door.
