Green roofs and clouds covering the Innerdal Tower, Omsdal, Norway
This beautiful collection of log cabins with green roofs and moss insulation are in the Innerdalen valley [www.innerdalen.com] about 100km south west of Trondheim in Norway. The impressive mountain in the background is called Innerdalstårnet and is known as Norway's Matterhorn. It's an area where summer mountain farming [www.herdalssetra.no/engsider/engstart.html] practices from the 12th Century are still being used to graze goats and sheep for cheese making.
