Old bunk bed turned into an indoor tree house. -- want to do this w/ bamboo legs & grass roof. A quiet place to read under (w/ bean bags) and "toddler proof" upper place to play legos, etc.

.great built-in bunks // kids room. Would be a good idea for extra space in basement, especially for sleep overs.

Perfect for the amount of kids we have... Possibly to modern for the redneck part of the bunch

. . . there is something so wonderfully absorbing about this room -- the luxuriously rich colours and mix of patterns & textures -- perhaps it is the royal blue silk settee and elegant leopard print walls, the dazzling chandelier and bits of gold, the dusky streams of light and beautifully set table for two, or perhaps is is a combination of all these things . . .

kids bunk room. or maybe a separate room for when extra people sleep over?

This bunkroom in Santa Cruz, California, is the perfect way to sleep extra visitors. The bunks are extra long to accommodate all ages, and varying but complementary bed linens make each bed feel like its own space.

LOVE these hanging beds (via Pioneer Woman) - would be perfect if we ever finish out our 2nd story in our current house...and best of all my super fab Hubby can easily make them.

This is a really awesome way for a shared girl's bedroom without taking too much room up in the actual bedroom.

Another bunk room (this one by Christina Murphy)

This room is gorgeous sans furniture! Add the big comfy bed? Priceless! the large windows help to brighten the space-but I'm worried about the nighttime. Would it be too dark? I'd love to see two little chairs and a cute end table rather than the couch-but none-the-less this room is beautiful.

My kind of bunk room--curtains for privacy and not a ladder in sight!
