It's a quick easy and fun activity for the LOs! Sll you need us: oil, water, and food coloring! Fill a jar 3/4 of the way full with warm water. In a separate bowl, mix a 3-4 tablespoons of oil and several drops of different colors of food coloring. Use a fork to gently mix the oil and food coloring together. Then pour the oil mixture into the jar. The food coloring will slowly sink out of the oil and into the water. When this happens, it will expand and begin to mix with the other colors.
For camping or late nights at the beach? Leave 1/4 of Mountain dew in bottle (just dont drink it all), add a tiny bit of baking soda and 3 caps of peroxide. Put the lid on and shake - voila! Homemade glow stick (bottle) solution. - Click image to find more DIY Crafts Pinterest pins" data-componentType="MODAL_PIN
Milk Art. All you need is milk, food coloring and dish soap. This year in Chemistry I got to test out this project, but my group did it wrong and it didn't come out right. I would love to try again and make a complete piece of art out of it. The colors flow however they want and you can't control it. It's art just the way it is made.
