The French Crown Jewels - A set of diamond leaf brooches that belonged to Empress Eugénie
The #diamond necklace, part of the French crown jewels was collier aux quartre rivieres, a four-strand diamond necklace which originally had two large shoulder bows. Set with 222 diamonds weighing a total of 363 carats.
The devant-de-corsage of the 'parure de groseillier' (currant leaf parure) of the French Crown Jewels was made in 1855 by Bapst for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III.
