Here's a simple idea for using LEGO blocks to count. Students move around the board adding or subtracting blocks from their tower. At the end of the game, players count how many they have and the player with the most wins! (They can also compare towers by length.)

Fun outdoor activities for kids: Some I knew, others not so much. This summer will be fun-filled and outside. Not mentioned is one of my all time favorites. Give each kid a jar and tell them to catch as many "insert favorite creature here) as they can then time them. Ghost in Graveyard (previous pin) is also on the list of "must do" for this summer.
