Never use a whole carton of buttermilk? Freeze it into cubes. You can also do this with chicken broth tomato paste, etc. Each cube makes abt 2 T.

Freezing buttermilk or heavy cream cubes for cooking. I never use a whole carton nor do I have in stock when a recipe calls for a bit! Such a great idea! Why didn't I think of this!
