Apple pie made with an apple cider caramel. YUM. I want to make this just to make the apple cider caramel. One of the comments says that if you partially cook your apples before adding them to the pie, they don't shrink as much and your sky high apple pie stays that way. Genius!
Caramel Glazed Apple Bread Bread: ■1 1/2 cups shredded apples ■1 cup brown sugar ■1/2 cup buttermilk ■1/2 cup vegetable oil ■4 eggs ■3 cups flour ■1/2 cup pecans ■2 tsp baking soda ■2 tsp cinnamon ■1tsp salt ■1 tsp nutmeg Glaze: ■2 tb butter or margar ■1/4 cup brown sugar ■1 tb milk ■1/2 cup powdered sugar Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottoms only of 2 (8×4-inch) loaf pans Bake 45 to 55 minutes
Apple Pie Caramel Apple - These are the BEST caramel applies. I LOVE the white chocolate over the caramel and the cinnamon sugar is the perfect finishing touch!!! I love using a pink lady apple or a honeycrisp - their juicy crunch with just a little tartness is perfect!
Spread snickers on bottom of pie crust. Next layer the apples next. Then drizzle caramel on top. Combine cool whip, cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together in a small bowl and spread on top. Drizzle with caramel and a few snickers. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Take out about 5 minutes before serving and top with fresh apple slices.
