    3 Celery, ribs
    3 Garlic cloves
    1 Onion, large
    4 Thyme, sprigs

    3 cups Chicken stock

    Baking & Spices

    1 Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

    Oils & Vinegars

    2 tbsp Canola oil

    Beer, Wine & Liquor

    1 750-milliliter bottle Red wine, dry

    Crockpot lasagna Ingredients: 8 lasagna noodles-uncooked, 1lb ground beef, 1 tsp itaian seasoning, 2-28Oz jars spaghetti sauce, 1/2 cup water, 4 Oz can sliced mushrooms, 15 Oz ricotta cheese, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. Directions: 1) grease the crockpot, break noodles. 2) place half in bottom of greased slow cooker. 3) brown ground beef in sauce pan, drain, stir in Italian seasoning. 4) spread half oven noodles in slow cooker. 5) layer half of sauce and water, half of mushrooms, half of ricotta cheese, and half of mozzarella cheese over beef. 6) repeat layers with remaining half of ingredients. 7) cover, cook on low 3-5 hours, just until noodles are done.

    Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli: 11/21/13. Really good! Note on broccoli: recipe said to add froz at end. I added fresh for last 1/2 hour and it was too long - broccoli got overdone. Adjust time and watch closely.

    I just love anything made with onion...this recipe is no exception...the more the merrier. The creamy, flavorful sauce, could be eaten over mashed potatoes, noodles or kids wanted noodles. I usually prefer the bone in, center cut chops with this recipe, but all I had was boneless. This recipe can also be made in the crock pot...I didn't have time for that, so I baked it in the oven...
