Giffed Couch 2 5k. Posted in honor of a new baby, a new start, and finally going back to the gym. I quit at week 7 while pregnant. Here is to finishing. 6 more weeks to go.

Couch to 5k! I don't know if I could do it this fast, but it is nice to have an outlined plan...

I used to think I could never run! I am over 40, have had 2 kids, have a really bad back, and horrible joints. My sister inspired me because she started running 5 years ago and looks amazing. I ran through the pain and started at my own pace. I am up to 12 miles a week and climbing. ANYONE can do it!! Just take your time an believe in yourself!

This is a perfect way to get into running if (like me) you start out not being able to run more than a minute or two before getting winded. THAT IS OKAY!!! Nobody is born a crazy runner and everyone starts the same way :)

I've always wanted to try this, BUT... To begin, they assume that you can already jog 2 minutes. Ha!
