Vance Creek Bridge - The Vance Creek Bridge, built in 1929, was part of the Simpson Railroad which was one of the last logging railroad operations in the continental United States. The Vance Creek Bridge has been out of operation since the 1950's and spans over 400 feet long and 347 feet high making it one of the highest railway arch bridges ever built in the United States. The bridge is located deep in the forest on Washington State’s Olympic peninsula, about a two hour drive from Seattle.

The second highest volcano in the state of Washington, this is Mount Adams at 11,000 feet and change. This guy, has not erupted in over 1,400 years, it is not considered extinct. The village below is Yakima, Washington. Adams does not get much ink because of Rainier, and Baker, but you can bet your bottom dollar it is an active volcano. Its been sleep for over 1,400 years. Got this on Interstate 82 heading east into Yakima going to Salt Lake City, UT.
Matthew House, Monroe, WA is an organization dedicated to assisting children and the families of people incarcerated in Washington’s prisons. The nonprofit is an Everett Clinic Foundation Operation Outreach partner in 2015.
