I have two of wine barrel water gardens in my yard -- both more than 7 years old -- including the gold fish and the gambusia (mosquito eating fish). They are now little ecosystems that thrive with little maintenance. I just need to thin out the roots once a year and enjoy the pink and yellow water lily blooms. They love full sunshine for best blooming results.
