you know what? I'm gonna heft my wiggly butt up and start doing this daily. I think I could manage it...

a workout to help you get the toned legs of a dancer. pair this with a lot of stretching and you should notice a difference, especially in your calves, pretty quickly.

for the 60 minutes on Saturday, I may make Chris and Maddy play badminton! that junk burns calories...and is TOO fun

I just did this for the first time and man am I going to be sore in the morning. It says it's a leg workout, but it definitely works your arms and core as well. I can't do burpees because of my ankle and knee injuries so I did a one minute wall sit. Here's to hoping that in six months I have my sexy legs back.

Day 1-dancer's leg workout This workout took me about 20 minutes and my legs are screaming! My starting weight is 140 lbs.

No gym needed... no excuse accepted. I just did this workout, it took me 10:03 min, avg hr 151. Burned about 110 calories. This is a great warm up to a cardio workout!

for some day when i have the energy to google what a burpee actually is & then actually do it.

I like trying different leg workouts I find on Pinterest, even if they consist of a lot of the same exercises :)

As requested by imemymine2012, here’s a workout to help you get the toned legs of a dancer. Pair this with a lot of stretching and you should notice a difference, especially in your calves, pretty quickly. For extra intensity, add dumbbells to the squats and lunges. Also, if you have a hard time balancing in the one-legged calf raises, stand near a wall or counter so you have something to rest your hand on for balance. That’s why we have barres in ballet classes!

rim jumps - you hold your arm(s) above your head and jump up, reaching for an imaginary basketball hoop rim. - scissors - lunge on one side and then quickly transition into a lunge on your other leg by jumping. that is, switch legs by jumping in the air.
