Book covers.. super cute as the girls begin enjoying chapter books on their own!

How to cover a book. They used these covered books as decorations at the wedding reception.

I LOVE this... might have to make one for my notebook or journal or some other book I use regularly :D

I crocheted something similar as a cover for my old Missal. Used white crochet thread, made pockets for prayer cards, did a small lacy trim around edges, & a metallic gold chalice & host on front. Simple rectangle like a school book cover. Remove to hand wash. Maybe I'll take a pitcha. ;) Made it 30+ yrs ago. It & my Missal are still goin' strong. They're in better shape than I am! ;D

I'm always looking for ways to use old maps. Can't bear to throw them out.

old book: remove spine and use pages as base to affix scrap paper or replace book signatures with same size scrap paper for a journal, scrap book, photo album. Make a theme, use to collect most cherished Christmas & Birthday cards or use all your Wedding/Shower cards to create a keepsake of event. Endless possibilities...

nicel idea... to sew a paper picture onto a paper notebook instead of just glueing it. Where's my sewing kit?
