What really makes Ormer special is the way that it embraces the biodiversity on the island, which is where the foraging comes in. Rankin has worked with professional forager Kazz Padidar for almost a decade. A coastal car park is probably as barren as Death Valley and yet within 10 minutes, Padidar is able to find five or six different edible species that I couldn't even begin to recall.
