An antique toolbox repurposed for a modern necessity: Charging devices. Drill a hole in the side of a toolbox large enough to feed an electrical plug through. Place a plug strip inside the box; feed the plug through the hole. Cut a board to fit inside the box and drill holes on the board (large enough so that one end of your charging cords can feed through them).

DIY Shadow Box Cell Charger Station. Use a shadow box with an open back, attaching a power strip to the back with hook ad loop tape. Slide a piece of foam core board cut to fit inside the box, mounted with decorative paper. Tuck the cell phone cords under the board or cut small notches along the base and voila!

Use a binder clip to clip your charger to your desk or end table!

DIY Charging Station. this would be great so each child could be more responsible about recharging his/her own devices. also, instead of the iPad, that'd be a great place for their headphones to hang out!

Electronics Charging Station - Drill holes into the back of a Hobby Lobby drawer to create a pretty place to charge phones, ipods, kindles, gameboys, etc. You could use any kind of object, really.
