Set of 10 inch "Coronation dolls" by Liberty of London. Issued in celebration of the crowning of George VI in 1937 (the Stuttering King of the King's Speech movie) the set includes George VI, his wife Elizabeth, and his two daughters Elizabeth (later Queen of England) and Margaret, in addition to the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Lord Chancellor. These dolls were handmade with extreme attention to detail.

Charles was incapacitated by madness in the early 1390s, which gave his queen more say in the government. In Charles’ name she signed the Treaty of Troyes in 1420, settling a long conflict between England and France. Her daughter Catherine married Henry V of England. Restorers' Comment: Dress re-cut, jewels on dress reworked, head dress rebuilt.
Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1744-1818) was the Queen consort of the United Kingdom as the wife of King George III. She was also the electress consort of Hanover in the Holy Roman Empire until the promotion of her husband to King of Hanover on in 1814, which made her Queen consort of Hanover.
