    Such a good book!

Beautiful Boy--I loved this book; a father's journey through his son's meth addiction. His son, Nic also wrote a book called Tweak. I highly recommend these books if you know somebody going through addiction or if you just want to gain some insight on the subject.

Tweak, by Nick Sheff (I read Beautiful Boy by his father, and this is the perspective of the son and his life addicted to meth. Beautiful Boy was heartbreaking, so I'm excited to finish this book; I'm about halfway!)

John Paul Jones is more than a great sea story. Jones is a character for the ages. John Adams called him the "most ambitious and intriguing officer in the American Navy." The renewed interest in the Founding Fathers reminds us of the great men who made this country, but John Paul Jones teaches us that it took fighters as well as thinkers, men driven by dreams of personal glory as well as high-minded principle to break free of the past and start a new world. audible

Defending Jacob: A Novel by William Landay - Oct 17 Audible Daily Deal - $4.95

The narration for this audiobook is amazing. Could go straight up Fiction or Literary Fiction as well as Narration by the Author. Good stuff however it's categorized.

In Broken, William Cope Moyers tells the story of a love affair with alcohol and crack cocaine that led him to the brink of death over and over again. A harrowing account, it paints a picture of a young man with every advantage who found himself spiraling into a dark abyss. Battling shame and self-doubt at every turn, the author finally emerges into the clear light of recovery as he dedicates his life to changing the politics of addiction.

Fiction or Non Fiction...WHO CARES?!? He is a genius and this book is amazing. Forget Oprah, read Frey.

Tweak, amazing for anyone who's struggled with addiction, knows someone who has, or loves psychology

No one is perfect, twenty-something Nic Sheff knows all too well. Scheff is frank, honest (mostly) and uncensored about his life struggling through addiction, recovery, relapse, recovery and uncertainty.
