Oh how I love this machine. As a kid we had an Alfa Romeo Milano 164. It was gunmetal grey and I loved it. We'd race along the roads in Australia on my way to school and I couldn't have been happier. Truly a drivers car... years on we get this 8C - only 500 hard-tops made, and 500 Spiders - which will remain a flawless example of how a super car can show restraint, elegance, and power all at once. Mmmmmm... Delicious! Italian Exotic Icons: Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
The #48 Porsche 908/02 driven by Steve McQueen and Peter Revson to a second place finish in the 1970 12 Hours of Sebring. Revson probably drove 8 of the 12 hours because McQueen had a foot in a cast from an accident suffered weeks earlier. Steve McQueen is driving in this photo.
