Smelly Stickers. This is sheer awesomeness here. #80's You would bring your albums full of stickers to school and trade with friends. Hopefully they would still stick after you removed them from the old photo album pages. So great.

I loved Bookmobile day! This was so great in the summer, even if it wasn't air conditioned. Mom always made us take a "rest" in the afternoons. We didn't have to go to sleep, we could just read or be still, but it gave her a break from 4 kids and I learned to love to read...

Sears Catalog...my dad kept these. Us girls would go through it page by page, circling everything we wanted for Christmas.

Loved this book! I think that my 3rd grade teacher read this to the class!

Loved Beverly Cleary books! One of the all time greatest books I read when I was little.

Crayola Crayons - remember "Prussian blue" and "spring green"? Ahhh...the 64 box. I remember opening it and marveling at all the colors. The eager expectation of using that wonderful sharpener. Oh, and the smell... there was nothing like it. Even now, when I open a new box of crayons the happy memories just flood back and I smile.

Do you remember wearing these? With no soles they weren't very comfortable. I loved wearing my moccasins.
