The trick is to put the pan in a cold oven and then switch it on and begin your timer. Im amazed how many people dont know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. I hate getting SPLATTERED!! This works perfect! Mississippi Sin dip 16oz sour cream 8oz cream cheese, softened 2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup chopped ham 1 green onion, chopped 1/4 tsp hot sauce 1 tsp Worcestershire salt pepper French bread loaf In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except bread. gentle sawing motion, cut vertically to, but not through, bottom of the loaf, 1/2 inch from the edge, to cut out center of bread. Lift out center of loaf. Fill hollowed bread with the dip. Wrap loaf with foil. Bake 350° 1 hour.

Chicken Enchilada Pasta- The only thing I changed on the recipe was the chicken. I slow cooked skinless/boneless chicken breasts for 6 hours with one 16 oz bottle of salsa and a taco seasoning packet. I then shredded the chicken and put it back in the slow cooker to soak everything up. I can't rave enough about this recipe. DELICIOUS!

I was so happy with how these turned out and our family loved them! Rating: 5 stars Difficulty of Recipe: 3 stars Ingredients: 3-4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 1 package chicken taco seasoning 1 package ranch dry salad dressing 1/2 cup bottled ranch 1/2 cup salsa 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 can chicken broth 1 package tortillas 1. Cook and shred the chicken. I cooked mine in the slow cooker with the ranch packet and taco seasoning packages in the chicken broth. The chicken just peeled apart. I cooked it on low for about 3-4 hours. 2. Mix the 1/2 cup of ranch and 1/2 salsa in a bowl. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and spread a very thin layer of the mixture on the bottom. 3. Start assembling the enchiladas by putting 2 Tbs of the ranch and salsa mixture on the bottom of tortilla. Then put the shredded chicken on top of that. Sprinkle with cheese and roll it up. 4. Line up the enchiladas in the 9x13 pan and sprinkle heavily with the cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and enchiladas are heated through. 5. Spinach Artichoke Pasta - better than the dip Do you love spinach artichoke dip? I sure do. I don’t make it that often and when I realized I wanted it today, I thought it’d be interesting to make it into a main dish or entree. Enter pasta and we have a fantastic combination. This pasta dish tastes just like the dip. It’s hearty, creamy, and filling. It’s very rich so I would recommend having it paired with something else – salad would be great. I ate a small portion of it and was stuffed. Enjoy! 1 12-oz box pasta (I used bowties) 1 tsp butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 8 oz package reduced fat cream cheese 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream 1/2 lemon, juiced 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1 14 oz can artichoke hearts (packed in water), drained and chopped 10 oz chopped, frozen spinach, thawed, with as much excess water squeezed out as possible 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded Additional Parmesan for serving Cook pasta according to package directions. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Slowly stir in milk, then add sour cream, lemon juice, salt and red pepper flakes. Stir in artichoke hearts, spinach, and parmesan cheese. Drain pasta and add to artichoke mix. Toss and season to taste with salt and additional lemon juice as needed. Serve with additional shredded Parmesan :)
