Paint that grows. Mix 1 cup flour, 3 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, and enough water to make consistency of pancake batter. Divide into 4 parts and put in snack size Ziploc baggies along with food coloring. Squish it around to mix up the colors. Rubber band like icing bag and snip tiny hole. Squeeze to paint and then pop paper in microwave for 30-45 seconds and watch the paint puff up and grow.

Painting with flour. Microwave 30 sec. to make fluffy! Equal parts salt and self-rising flour with enough water to make a very thick paste. // This worked great and was really neat! Thicker paste and painting definitely worked better. I'd also make a big batch, then separate it and dye it.

best kids paint recipe ever: 1C flour, 3T baking powder, 1t salt, and enough water to make it look like pancake paste. Divvy it up into however many colours you like, and use food colouring to colour it. Chuck each picture in the microwave for 30 odd seconds, and it dries and fluffs up. Good fun, no wet paintings and not too much mess! Follow link for more
