Linguine with White Clam Sauce Recipe ⅓ cup extra-virgin olive oil 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced 2¼ lb. littleneck clams, cleaned ⅓ cup dry white wine ½ tsp. crushed red chile flakes 1 lb. linguine, cooked to al dente, plus ½ cup cooking water, reserved 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
A good basic (and classic) homemade Alfredo sauce made completely from scratch! Not only is it delicious, creamy and cheesy, the sauce is simple to prepare, and it uses the ingredients that can be easily found in any pantry.
This sauce has a delicious rich flavor, and uses real ingredients. It’s better than any jarred sauce you can find at the store, and there is always plenty left over to freeze for another meal or two in the future.
