Talked to Baldacci this week about his new book. Love that he takes time to talk to small markets like the News-Telegram. Over 100 million books sold. This one is fabulous. Could NOT put it down. So, don't start it if you have anything that MUST get done!

I loved this book. Be prepared to cry. Looking forward to more from this author. Dancing on Broken Glass by Ka Hancock, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005GG0MGA/ref=cm_sw_r_pi_dp_Vesgrb0ZYTW56

House Rules: by Jodi Picoult -Jacob Hunt is a teen with Asperger’s syndrome. He’s hopeless at reading social cues or expressing himself well to others, though he is brilliant in many ways. But he has a special focus on one subject—forensic analysis. A police scanner in his room clues him in to crime scenes, and he’s always showing up and telling the cops what to do. And he’s usually right. But when Jacob’s small hometown is rocked by a terrible murder, law enforcement comes to him.

David Baldacci. The Forgotten (Grand Central Publishing, November 2012) This is the second book in Baldacci's Reacher-like series featuring John Puller, a military cop. The Forgotten picks up from where Zero Day left off, but it's not necessary to have read that book previously.

I've read The Thorn Birds too many times to count, the first time when I was in high school. And I still have my original copy!
