Attachments. Sounds like it might be worth reading
A fantastic and comprehensive book by John C. Bogle, founder of Vanguard, that explains time-tested principles of investing that should form the foundation for every individual investor. Instead of aiming to beat the market with fashionable investment techniques, he gives evidence that investors cannot consistently beat the market, and focuses instead on the fundamentals of reducing cost and risk over long investment horizons using index funds for consistent performance.
This month's book club… sad to miss!
Attachments, Rainbow Rowell. Pinner writes: "Beth & Jennifer know that somebody is monitoring their work e-mail but they can't take it seriously. They go on sending each other endlessly hilarious e-mails discussing every aspect of their personal lives. It's the classic story of boy gets hired to screen company email, boy falls in love w/ girl through her emails, boy doesn't know exactly how to tell girl romantic comedy w/ no wacky hijinks or crazy schemes told from the male perspective."

READING LIST: The Paris Wife by Paula McLain 0 A deeply evocative story of ambition and betrayal, The Paris Wife captures a remarkable period of time and a love affair between two unforgettable people: Ernest Hemingway and his wife Hadley. (Bilbary Town Library: Good for Readers, Good for Libraries)
Rebecca Smith, SEO editor The Book: The Paris Wife by Paula McLain "Most people turn to romance novels because they want to read about a couple that goes through hard times and then lives happily ever after. But, I have always been a fan of reading something that leaves a lasting impression. This book broke my heart, but in one of the most beautiful ways possible. The Paris Wife follows Ernest Hemingway and his first wife, Hadley Richardson, as newlyweds in Paris during the '20s. Their romance is colored by Hemingway's success and their eccentric band of cohorts: Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Zelda Fitzgerald. While their love story is surrounded by high fashion and fun, the pair also faces financial stress, the expectations of success, alcoholism, and deception. Hemingway fans know that Ernest and Hadley didn't last forever, but this story of their love just might."The Paris Wife, $11.68, available at Amazon.

lame title but evidently worth reading...
Title: How To Love An American Man Author: Kristine Gasbarre Genre: Memoir About: (from the LibraryThing description) After dating driven, self-absorbed men in New York, Krissy Gasbarre relocates to Italy to be near her new English beau and to research the roots of her lovably alpha-male, Italian-American grandpa. But just weeks into her European adventure, the Brit takes a job in the Middle East…and her grandpa, who’s been an indelible force in her life, passes away. For the first time in a decade, Krissy moves back to her Pennsylvania hometown to mourn her grandpa’s death and help her close-knit, festive family care for her refined (but notoriously non-maternal) grandmother. That’s when Grandma Gloria reveals the untold story of her 60-year marriage and the love lessons that made her relationship so much more successful than the ones her granddaughter’s known.
How to love an American man, good read.
