John French was a well known fashion photographer in London during the 1950-60s. He was once described as "the man who brought a new glamour to fashion photography". The following images come from a book printed at the time of a Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition held in 1984. The book is long out of print and unavailable through the V Museum website. The images date from between 1948 and 1965.
