Sweet Potato Biscuits 2 cups Better Batter G-Free All Purpose Flour 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar, packed 6 Tbsp. cold unsalted butter, cut into 10-12 small cubes 1 1/4 cups baked sweet potatoes, peeled and mashed with a fork
Sweet Potato Biscuits 1 3/4 c flour 2 tbsp brown sugar 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 6 tbsp chilled butter, in pieces 3/4 c sweet potato puree 1/3 c buttermilk Whisk together dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter, cut in chilled butter, to coarse meal texture, with some pea size pieces. Combine sweet potato puree and buttermilk, then add to dry mixture, stir w/ fork, but don't over mix. Form into 8 biscuits. Preheat oven to 425F; bake for 20-25min.
