Beautiful, welcoming sidewalk. I would love to smell lavender every time I walked into my front door!

LAVENDER is beautiful, fragrant and tasty. Indoors or out, lavender is a natural bug repellent, hated by fleas & moths. The nectar attracts beneficial insects to the garden; good COMPANION PLANT for veggies & fruit trees. Propagated by cuttings so get one plant and create many for use in the house and garden. Place sprigs of lavender on window sills and in front of doorways as an ancient French trick to keep away scorpions.

I think I could sit in this garden and share secrets over tea with my best friend. It would then be a secret garden would it not?

lavendar- someday would love to grow a whole field of it. My kids love the smell of lavender, they say it smells like me, and they often make the request to have me spray my lavender perfumes on their pillows so they can smell me at night. Very sweet.

Sometimes using just one plant gives the drama and impact that you need. I don;t like many containers that are too busy and are just a hodge podge of color. The same with flower gardens. I like a theme that flows through the garden. It takes restraint in planning but looks by far the best, in my opinion!

Lavender - Cambridge, England - would love this under the windows in containers
