Any suggestions for modifying this for low vision kids?
@Marina Perez - the visual intensity of bright yellow is one of the easiest colors to see, and if you give a child with vision impairment something bold like a black marker instead of a pencil, you'll likely create enough contrast for many with low visual acuity. The other thing I've done in my art room, is to use a screen under the paper to create a rough surface their finger can trace over.

Did you know that placing a red dot in the middle of words can help children see the whole word? Try it for students who just look at the beginning of words and then guess.
