    ✯ Stream of Flowers

    We have planted bougainvillea and ended up getting rid of the vines. They grow easily in So. Cal, but if you have small children and/or pets I don't recommended them. The vine have sharp thorns, I've had to bandage several deep scratches and cuts in the past. On the plus side, it grows fast and flowers in a bright profusion of papery flowers. They do need pruning often, just make sure you have heavy gloves to keep from being wounded.
