Believing in God is as easy as believing all the things around us.

All time favorite quote! Engraved into a cave by someone held in a Nazi concentration camp...incredible the amount of faith this person had. SO inspiring!

    • Steven Everist

These words were found etched into a cellar wall at the Nazi concentration camp at Cologne (Koln), Germany after it was liberated. Undoubtedly scrawled there by one of the Jews or other "undesirables" slated for death. Here is the entire poem by the unknown author: "I believe in the sun even when it is not shining And I believe in love, even when there's no one there. And I believe in God, even when he is silent. I believe through any trial, there is always a way But sometimes in this suffering and hopeless despair My heart cries for shelter, to know someone's there But a voice rises within me, saying hold on my child, I'll give you strength, I'll give you hope. Just stay a little while. I believe in the sun even when it is not shining And I believe in love even when there's no one there But I believe in God even when he is silent I believe through any trial there is always a way. May there someday be sunshine May there someday be happiness May there someday be love May there someday be peace...."

Faith in God includes Faith in His Timing ~ Neil A. Maxwell quote (photo only)

Jesus died for you, knowing you might never love Him back. That is True Love.

Some people will go to great lengths to hurt and degrade you, which is very sad. Don't let them steal your joy. Keep moving forward with grace and honesty. Always have faith and believe in yourself. Also, as hard as it may be, pray for those people who attack your character as a human being. By doing so, you no longer let them live rent free in your thoughts and feelings. Give it to God.

not one on this earth will not feel the impact of this world fallen. Look unto the Lord and he will heal the broken heart.

The proverbial "leap of faith" is actually the size of a mustard seed. Keep going. And by the way, look at St. Augustine. Don't become disheartened that you made bad choices in the past; make the best choice you ever made by turning to the Lord-- watch as the Lord, through the Sacraments, reorients your life and puts a lot of broken pieces back together.

"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3 (NKJV)
