Southern Fried Chicken...... This was SoOoO good! I made it last night, and my family inhaled it. The changes I made: I eliminated the accent (never, ever use msg!) and added onion pwd. I used peanut oil for frying....To make 18 pcs I had to double the egg dip amount, and the flour portion was just enough... it is a bit of a time consuming process, but well worth the effort.

Southern fried chicken can certainly be challenging - it just takes practice to be honest! If you're new to frying chicken, try frying only dark or white meat your first time. I also like to brine the chicken first - it really helps to keep the breast meat nice and tender.
